Overview Five River
Crossing is a redevelopment project of a 26 year old office building
rehabilitated into a vibrant and exciting multi-use facility, which incorporates
retail space into the lower two floors and returns the top two floors to Class A
office space.
The new entry lobby promotes natural light from both the
east and west entrances, and a new staircase at the west entry provides easy
access to the 2nd floor retail shops. New elevators, new energy efficient
heating and cooling systems and a continuous, banded glass line with great views
of Keystone at the Crossing and White River create desirability for the office
users. The exterior of the building has been modified to accommodate the new
retail concept, incorporating storefront signage for both levels of retail,
exterior 2nd floor balcony entrances and individual entrances for 1st floor
retail shops. Quick access to the large parking field is provided by a new curb
cut along River Crossing Boulevard. The parking areas have been enhanced with
new lighting and retail-friendly landscaping.
The developer is
actively discussing occupancy with various retailers and construction is under
way for Ocean Prime (a Cameron Mitchell Restaurant) and Massage Envy - Spa, both
expected to open in early 2012. The new floor plan can accommodate retailers
from 1,200 square feet up to approximately 8,000 square feet.
Five
River Crossing is located on the prominent north side of Indianapolis at
Keystone at the Crossing, adjacent to the regional Fashion Mall which is
anchored by Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Crate & Barrel. It is a part
of the River Crossing development which consists of office buildings One, Two
and Three River Crossing; The Marriott Hotel; River Crossing Apartments; and
retail center The Shops at River Crossing which is anchored by Bed Bath &
Beyond, Champps Americana and Old Navy.
