Overview The Shoppes
at 54th Street was completed by PK Partners in the spring of 2006, completely
transforming a long vacant car dealership site at the northeast corner of 54th
Street and Keystone Avenue into a vibrant part of a historically significant and
still active retail corridor in the City of Indianapolis. The cream colored
brick and anodized aluminum storefronts evoke a "retro" style of
design that is reminiscent of the first heyday of this corridor during the
1950's and 1960's. This development was one of the first in this area that
responded to both the new drainage and well field ordinances enacted by the City
of Indianapolis, which required innovative design responses for some of the
anticipated tenants. The 16,000 s.f. strip center is anchored by Harris Tire
and Automotive and includes a diverse mix of retail and service tenants. The
development includes two outlots occupies by AutoZone and Rally's Hamburgers.
This Rally's continues to be one of the highest volume locations in the State of
Indiana.
